Even though I was training in
Shorin-Ryu and had a Dojo, I was still (on paper) attached to a Tae Kwon Do
association. They promoted me to 2nd Degree Black Belt. It was nice
gesture, but it wasn't necessary, since I was to involved with Okinawan
Shorin-Ryu and not training in Tae Kwon Do.
Attended the 1st meeting of the
I.S.K.A. Dom Mattioni officially became the Sensei of the West Chester
dojo. I was his Sempai. The association recognized my black belt from my
past experience.
